“NYTimes.com: Time Wastes Too Fast - And the Pursuit of Happiness Blog” by Maira Kalman
A fantastic (mostly) illustrated article about Maira Kalman’s visit to Monticello. I watched the John Adams HBO miniseries earlier this year which focused a lot on Adam’s relationship with Thomas Jefferson, and am now fascinated with him. Some interesting factoids (side note: LOVE the word “factoid”):

He had a wall of curiosities right when you entered his Palladian house that he designed himself.
He vehemently believed in the separation of Church and State, and founded the University of Virginia, one of the first non-religious universities.
He slept partly sitting up
He made charts of everything
There’s a chance that Jefferson’s wife and Sally Hemings were half-sisters.
